A signing ceremony for key cultural industrial projects at the 4th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair took place at China (Taiyuan) Coal Transaction Center in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, on Dec 5, according to the organizers. 

The ceremony saw 96 projects signed -- involving media integration, culture and tourism projects that adopts artificial intelligence, 5G, big data and blockchain technologies -- with a financing topping 28 billion yuan ($3.98 billion). 

The projects showcase the development direction of Shanxi province's culture sector in the future. 

There are 275 projects looking for investment totaling 164.6 billion yuan at this year's cultural industries fair running Dec 5-10.
