Shanxi province selected 37 outstanding food companies to participate in the second China–Hangzhou Food E-commerce Expo (CFEE) on April 23. The province also held a dedicated promotional event to expand sales channels and strengthen online brand presence.
The Shanxi exhibition area showcased locally representative, high-quality food enterprises, highlighting specialty foods such as fruits, grains, beverages, and pastries. The exhibition featured time-honored brands, new online products, and regional public brands.
Key food export companies from Shanxi were organized to attend the e-commerce expo, providing these enterprises with a platform to explore domestic sales opportunities, aiding their transition and alleviation efforts.
Special promotional events were also held for Jincheng and Changzhi, creating unique scenarios through the "industry + cultural tourism" and "brand + story" models. The Jincheng event showcased high-quality agricultural products such as processed Gaoping pears, Yangcheng silk products, and Lingchuan medicinal herbs. The Changzhi event combined historical stories with local specialties, highlighting products like Qinzhou yellow millet and Zidong Dahongpao peppers.
"Through the expo's e-commerce resources, we aim to enhance offline display, online precision marketing, and full-channel supply chain coordination, helping more 'Shanxi flavors' go global," said an official from the Department of Commerce of Shanxi Province.
