A total of 32 top-quality enterprises from Shanxi province, featuring over 300 unique products, made a prominent appearance at the 9th Silk Road International Exposition on May 21, showcasing Shanxi's latest achievements in transformation and development and fostering deeper cooperation with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

The Shanxi exhibition area captivated visitors with a diverse range of products, including traditional specialty foods, intangible cultural heritage and handicrafts, modern industrial and new materials, alcoholic beverages, and cultural tourism integrations. Attendees were seen inquiring and negotiating deals.

"We brought three series of products to this expo: cultural relic replicas, Jin State culture items, and cultural and creative products. On the first day, a merchant from Shaanxi showed interest in our ceramic cultural products and initiated collaboration talks," said Gong Cheng, chairman of Linfen Pingshui Zisha Culture Co. He said that their goal at the expo was to expand sales channels and promote Shanxi's rich ceramic heritage, turning historical relics into cultural products.

This year's expo focuses on themes such as international and interprovincial cooperation, key industries, and consumer promotion. It features six exhibition areas: Silk Road Quality Products, Interprovincial Cooperation, Technological Innovation, Low-Altitude Economy, Transportation and Logistics, and Cultural Tourism Consumption.

Nine thematic activities will also be held during the expo, including global partner matchmaking for China-Europe freight trains, China-Central Asia Silk Road e-commerce cooperation, international industry-academia-research cooperation meetings, and cross-border financial cooperation exchanges, covering trade, technology, finance, and education.
