Sheikh Salman Sabah, president of the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC), visited Linfen, Shanxi province, from June 3 to 5, during which he attended the Asian Shotgun Cup 2025. The visit allowed him to experience Linfen's technological innovation and cultural tourism offerings firsthand.

On June 3, Sheikh Salman Sabah visited the Linfen Economic Development Zone, where he toured Shanxi Yaoxing New Energy Technology Co and Linfen Jingxu New Energy Technology Co. He was impressed by the companies' advancements in the renewable energy sector.

The Linfen Economic Development Zone has been actively promoting international cooperation with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. Sheikh Salman Sabah expressed hope for multi-faceted cooperation in renewable energy.

On June 4, Sheikh Salman Sabah visited Hukou Waterfall in Jixian county and Yunqiu Mountain in Xiangning county, appreciating Linfen's unique cultural and tourism offerings.

On June 5, he explored the Linfen Museum, tracing the origins of Chinese civilization. He lauded the museum's digital technology, which vividly brings historical artifacts to life, remarking that the experience was fantastic and Linfen's history was captivating.
