In the mixed team double trap competition, the final event, gold was claimed by the Chinese Taipei duo of Liu Wanyu and Yang Kunbi, who defeated an Iranian pair in the finals. Teams from Kuwait and Japan shared third place.
With the conclusion of all 17 events, China led the count with an impressive 11 gold medals, while Kuwait followed with three.
China demonstrated absolute dominance in the youth categories, sweeping all seven gold medals. In the adult competitions, Chinese shooters maintained their superiority in the women's events, winning all individual and team gold medals in both the skeet and trap events.
"The Chinese team performed at their usual high level and achieved satisfactory results," said head coach Wang Xiao. "However, we also identified some issues, such as the performance drop in the finals compared to the qualifiers and unnecessary mistakes under pressure. These are issues we need to address in our upcoming training sessions."
The Chinese team will return to Beijing to prepare for the next challenge, the World Cup event in Italy, scheduled for July.
