China Movie Channel is set to host a concert on Monday commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the World Anti-Fascist War, as well as Taiwan's retrocession.

Musicians from both sides of the Taiwan Strait will join hands in Shanxi province, with Qiankun Bay and the Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River, and the Wangmangling of Taihang Mountains serving as geographical coordinates that bear the spirit of the nation.

With the sky and earth as the backdrop and the mountains and rivers as the stage, the concert will play the resounding notes of the era. Through music, national memories are engraved, allowing the spirit of resistance to be perpetually passed down in the melody of the times, and national strength to resonate in the bloodlines of both sides of the Strait.

The concert lineup includes the Central National Music Orchestra, the Lanzhou Concert Hall Choir, the China Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, and the Fuzhou Strait Symphony Orchestra.
