Shanxi MeetAll Chain Supermarket Co, a local Shanxi supermarket, made the "2024 China Supermarket Top 100" list released by the China Chain Store & Franchise Association, ranking 27th.

MeetAll Supermarket achieved a total sales volume of 6.55 billion yuan ($912.26 million) in 2024, marking a 5 percent year-on-year growth. The company operated 129 stores in 2024, a 7.2 percent decrease from the previous year.

With a focus on the local market, the company has upheld the principles of "treating customers, suppliers, and employees well" and "constantly striving for perfection". Through active exploration and innovation, it has grown into the largest retail chain enterprise in Shanxi and North China as a whole.

According to the list, the sales volume of the top 100 supermarkets in 2024 reached around 900 billion yuan, year-on-year growth of 0.3 percent. The total number of stores amounted to 25,200, a 9.8 percent decrease. Notably, Walmart (China) retained the top spot with sales of 158.85 billion yuan, while Freshippo (China) entered the top three for the first time with 75 billion yuan in sales.
