The Shanxi Provincial Finance Department has taken multiple measures, such as ensuring people's livelihood, direct subsidies, and policy guidance, to inject strong momentum into the province's consumption market.

Shanxi has implemented support policies for employment and entrepreneurship, including subsidies for public welfare positions, one-time job-seeking subsidies, and internship employment subsidies, with a focus on stabilizing and expanding opportunities.

The province has also implemented direct subsidies for land fertility protection, agricultural machinery purchases, and job stabilization to optimize support policies for the agricultural industry.

Efforts have been made to expand the scope of the "trade-in for new" policy, covering the entire chain of consumption, including automobiles, household appliances, digital products, and home furnishings. A pre-allocated fund of 4.44 billion yuan ($619.72 million) has been set for 2025, with increased support planned to ensure consumers benefit from tangible discounts.

Shanxi is intensifying its policy-driven strategies to enhance the role of investment in promoting consumption, securing 2.37 billion yuan in central budgetary funds, and allocating 186 million yuan in provincial infrastructure funds this year to enhance consumption service infrastructure.

Meanwhile, 270 million yuan in provincial special funds for tourism development have been allocated to support the promotion of cultural and tourism resources and products, upgrade tourism infrastructure, implement "attracting visitors to Shanxi" incentives, and cultivate tourism routes.
