Boasting a unique climate and cultural and medicinal resources, the province plans to launch "Shanxi Medicine Health Tourism" routes and construct distinctive health towns that integrate medicinal herb cultivation, hot spring therapy, forest recuperation, and immersive experiences like acupuncture therapy and customized herbal cuisine.

An integrated TCM cultural ecosystem is expected to develop, focusing on authentic medicinal herbs and renowned TCM experts, and supporting the innovation and transformation of time-honored brands and intangible cultural heritage. Enterprises are encouraged to develop high-end tonics and creative products, with festivals and expos being held to create Shanxi cultural symbols. International cooperation will be deepened to facilitate the registration of Shanxi medicine products and expand overseas markets.

To advance the innovative application of intelligent TCM equipment, Shanxi will utilize clinical diagnosis and treatment data from esteemed TCM practitioners to develop, train, and apply artificial intelligence large models, driving the intelligent upgrade and application of TCM devices.
