The 7th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair (SXCIF), featuring diverse exhibits and special projects centered on Shanxi's ancient architecture, is breathing new life into millennia-old buildings through technology, artistic reconstruction, and interactive experiences.

At the fair's immersive display section, a space inspired by the Shuishen Temple murals allows visitors to "step into" the murals and experience their ancient allure. A full-scale model of Jinci Temple's Shuijing Stage has also been constructed, showcasing the intricate structures and details of traditional architecture.

The event's exhibition hall employs digital screen technology to showcase the majestic landscapes of Yanmen Pass, Piantou Pass, and Ningwu Pass, presenting the grandeur of Shanxi's ancient fortresses.

The Shanxi Culture Relics Bureau has also curated interactive experiences, like dougong assembly and woodblock printing. Visitors can assemble a dougong, gaining insight into the ingenious "mortise and tenon" structures of Chinese traditional buildings. Through woodblock printing, participants can experience the fusion of intangible cultural heritage and ancient architectural culture.

The fair aims to revitalize ancient architectural culture through innovative approaches, showcasing the aesthetic and historical depth of Shanxi's heritage.
