Shanxi province signed agreements for 13 key cultural industry projects with a total contract value exceeding 900 million yuan ($125.69 million) at the 7th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair (SXCIF) on Aug 23. These projects span strategic cooperation, smart sports, cultural tourism, and cultural heritage protection.

Among them, the Shanxi Cultural Immersive Experience Project aims to offer visitors a holistic cultural experience centered on "cinema & theater + traditional cultural interactions + educational base + tourism".

The Shanxi Cultural Creativity Valley Project focuses on publishing, distribution, performing arts, cultural heritage, and animation, seeking to drive innovation and creativity within Shanxi's cultural industry.

In the smart sports sector, the Zhongti Zhiyun Smart Sports Industry Space Project is dedicated to building an integrated "technology + culture + sports" demonstration platform. By empowering partners with innovative scenarios and advanced technology, it aims to drive regional industry upgrades.

In strategic cooperation, Shanxi Daily and Zhejiang Daily Press Group have partnered to explore a "provincial collaboration model" for deep media integration, enhancing cultural exchanges between the Yangtze River Delta and Central China. Projects focused on micro-dramas, documentaries, and feature films will also be implemented to produce works of profound thought and artistic excellence.

This signing aims not only to unleash the potential of Shanxi's cultural industry and attract social capital investment but also to inject new momentum into its goal of becoming a cultural powerhouse.
