The Shanxi-Taiwan (Xiamen) Industrial Cooperation Meeting, hosted by Shanxi province, took place in Xiamen on Sept 9. The event attracted nearly 50 representatives from Taiwan enterprises based in Xiamen, Shantou, and Zhangzhou, who engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from Shanxi's government departments and private enterprises.
This meeting, as part of the 2025 "Taiwan Business and Youth Visit Shanxi" series, focused on key collaborative sectors such as healthcare, food processing, and modern services. The aim is to enhance exchanges and cooperation between Shanxi and Taiwan, encouraging more Taiwan enterprises and youth to participate in Shanxi's high-quality development.

They extended an invitation to Taiwan businesses and young people to seize new development opportunities in Shanxi and deepen cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, and cultural tourism. Attendees agreed that Shanxi and Taiwan have complementary resources and vast cooperation potential, with promising prospects for future development.
With deep historical and cultural ties, Shanxi is committed to continuously improving policies and measures to provide excellent services for Taiwan companies and young people investing, working, and starting businesses in the province.
