On Sept 24, a dialogue was held between a delegation of business leaders from Shanxi province and alumni entrepreneurs of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai during the 25th China International Industry Fair, aiming to promote mutual growth and cooperation between CEIBS alumni enterprises and Shanxi.

The event was attended by over 80 participants, including representatives of various Shanxi provincial departments, city-level investment promotion bureaus, vocational schools, key enterprises, and 37 CEIBS alumni companies. The participating enterprises spanned multiple cutting-edge sectors, such as finance, modern services, smart manufacturing, third-generation semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and modern pharmaceuticals.

Ma Lei, Party secretary of CEIBS, emphasized the school's commitment to creating a platform for industry-academia-research collaboration, facilitating the integration of alumni resources with local economic development. He highlighted plans to encourage alumni to explore investment opportunities in Shanxi, fostering shared growth and development.

Yang Chunquan, director of the Shanxi Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau, provided an overview of the province's industrial development and progress in improving the business environment. He noted Shanxi's accelerated transformation and upgrading efforts, its focus on nurturing emerging industries, and the continuous optimization of its business environment.

During the enterprise promotion section, leaders from Shanxi companies such as Shanxi Financial Holding Group and Dedao Group, as well as CEIBS alumni enterprises shared their development status and cooperation needs, expressing a strong desire for deeper collaboration.

The dialogue served as an efficient platform for Shanxi's outstanding enterprises to connect with high-quality external resources, while also broadening channels for attracting high-quality investment and advancing the upgrading of the new materials industry in Shanxi.
