Shanxi showcases achievements in digital transformation at 4th GDTE

A delegation comprising of 19 enterprises from Shanxi province is participate in the exhibition, product launches, site visits, and networking activities at the Fourth Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) which is taking place from Sept 25 to 29 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
The expo features one exhibition, five digital trade segments, and seven specialized industry zones, attracting participants from 154 countries and regions, along with 33 international organizations. Over 1,800 exhibitors and more than 70 Fortune Global 500 companies are participating.

The Shanxi exhibition area covers 200 square meters and highlights the latest progress in e-commerce cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), focusing on digital and intelligent application scenarios and cutting-edge technologies.
The area brings together 19 enterprises from Shanxi – including leading companies in digital economy, key e-commerce platforms, outstanding rural e-commerce hubs, and foreign trade firms engaged in the BRI – showcasing Shanxi’s latest achievements in digital transformation
Shanxi has consistently prioritized the digital economy as a core engine of its economic transformation in recent years. It has developed three provincial-level key digital industry chains integrating third-generation semiconductors, photovoltaics, and information technology. Additionally, eight provincial-level digital economy demonstration zones have been created.
During the expo, the Shanxi delegation will also facilitate in-depth exchanges between Shanxi businesses and participating enterprises from home and abroad, expanding market reach, and securing more practical cooperation opportunities.
