Shanxi province recently hosted the "Beautiful Shanxi: Enjoy the Countryside" event, showcasing 11 premium leisure agriculture routes and 44 top attractions. These routes encompass a diverse range of rural experiences, including countryside homestays, educational tours, stargazing camps, farming activities, and leisure sightseeing, offering visitors abundant choices for rural relaxation.

The event uses three No 1 tourism highways to combine key elements such as agricultural culture, farming experiences, folk traditions, and local cuisine. By connecting the entire chain from production to processing and sales, the event fosters the deep integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism. This not only provides urban and rural residents with high-quality leisure destinations but also promotes the economic development of the countryside.

Shanxi boasts 619 traditional villages, 72 nationally recognized beautiful leisure villages, and 660 model villages, which combine livability with economic vitality, offering perfect destinations for experiencing the allure of the countryside.

The province has meticulously organized the "Beautiful Shanxi: Enjoy the Countryside" event for the past six years. To date, 127 premium routes and 588 attractions have been introduced. Notably, 35 routes, including the Yellow River Flower Sea in Jixian and the ancient castle homestays in Yangcheng, have been recognized as national leisure agriculture routes, highlighting Shanxi's competitive edge in the national leisure agriculture sector.
