A China-Europe freight train loaded with home appliances departed from Pingwang Station at Datong Railway Logistics Center on Sept 26, bound for Moscow, Russia, marking the 1,000th China-Europe (Asia) freight train dispatched from Shanxi province.

The "Datong-Manzhouli-Moscow" train consists of 55 containers filled with washing machines, refrigerators, and other home appliances. After clearing customs at the Manzhouli port, it is expected to reach Moscow in 15 days. Datong Customs has also introduced an innovative "bonded logistics + train" development strategy, offering efficient, convenient customs clearance.

Shanxi's China-Europe freight train network includes 26 regular routes passing through five ports: Manzhouli, Ereenhot, Alashankou, Khorgos, and Mohan. This network connects to 48 major cities across 17 countries in Europe and Asia.

In recent years, Huayuan International Land Port Group, the organizing and operating platform for Shanxi's China-Europe (Asia) freight trains, has committed to creating a "new window of opening-up" for the province.

The group has established a comprehensive international train management and operation service system across the province, supporting the export of Shanxi products and the import of global resources and injecting strong momentum into transforming Shanxi into a new inland hub of opening-up.
