The 2025 Shanxi-Taiyuan Talent and Intelligence Exchange Conference took place at the Jinyang Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, on Oct 25. The event underscored Shanxi's commitment to attracting and nurturing talent.

The event focused on aligning with the province's industrial development plans and talent needs, featuring policy briefings, talent matchmaking sessions, project showcases, and corporate live promotions. This conference aims to become a significant talent exchange platform in central China, providing intellectual support for Shanxi's high-quality development and comprehensive transformation.

The conference highlighted Shanxi's talent attraction policies and showcased achievements in creating a favorable talent ecosystem, including the implementation of the "Shanxi Talents' Home" initiative. A policy consultation area was set up to address inquiries and provide clarity on various policies, while over 28,000 informational materials were distributed to enhance publicity and reach.

A total of 699 companies participated in the on-site job fair, offering over 24,900 positions across diverse fields, including artificial intelligence, AI algorithms, equipment manufacturing, software development, and new materials and technologies. The event attracted 13,900 attendees and resulted in preliminary employment agreements with 14,700 candidates.

Additionally, 17 selected employers gave live presentations via the Shanxi Public Recruitment Network, outlining job requirements and compensation packages. These sessions attracted over 11,000 job seekers, who left comments and interacted with potential employers.
