In August, the 2,800-year-old city of Pingyao welcomed 17 Gen Z guests from France, Mexico, and China. They came to participate in the "2025 Built Heritage Conservation Voluntary Work Camp and Gen Z Construction Workshop", which was co-organized by the Shanghai Ruan Yisan Heritage Foundation and the Shanxi International Communication Center.

These young volunteers worked to restore two 300-year-old buildings, highlighting both the preservation of Chinese heritage and the cultural exchange among international youth. Watch the video to witness their remarkable journey.
