Shanxi province has announced plans to establish 117 provincial-level artificial intelligence (AI) education bases for primary and secondary schools, covering all 11 cities in the province. 

This initiative marks a significant step towards the large-scale, standardized development of AI education in Shanxi, providing a crucial platform for technological enlightenment and innovative practice among youth.

These bases will focus on disseminating fundamental AI knowledge, enhancing practical skills, and stimulating innovative thinking. By creating intelligent teaching environments, developing specialized curriculum systems, and organizing technology-based activities, the initiative aims to deeply integrate AI education with traditional school subjects.

In recent years, Shanxi has significantly increased investment in educational digitalization, promoting the integration of new technologies like AI and big data into teaching and learning. 

As these bases are gradually established, they will enhance the province's AI education framework for schools, ensuring balanced distribution of technological education resources. This effort is set to nurture young scientific talents, supporting Shanxi's high-quality development.
