The promotion event for the 2025 Lecture Tour by Ambassadors from African Countries was held in Shanxi on Dec 9. The event brought together diplomatic envoys from multiple African countries to China, government officials, financial institutions, and representatives from nearly 100 Shanxi enterprises.

The event established a high-level dialogue platform for Shanxi-Africa industrial collaboration, highlighted investment opportunities in key African countries, and promoted a more precise alignment between Shanxi's advantageous industrial capacity and Africa's resource endowments.

Lu Xiangdong, vice-president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, stated that the development needs of African regions align closely with Shanxi's industrial transformation goals. He highlighted the significant cooperation advantages and broad prospects between the two sides, noting that further strengthening friendly exchanges will inject new momentum into China-Africa relations.

Diplomatic envoys from multiple African countries expressed their gratitude for Shanxi's longstanding support to Africa during the promotion session. They provided basic information about their respective countries and showed willingness to collaborate with Shanxi in fields such as new energy, mineral resources, machinery manufacturing, and import-export trade.

The conference has strengthened mutual trust and friendship, further deepening and substantiating exchanges and cooperation between Shanxi and relevant African countries and regions, ensuring that more development achievements benefit people on both sides.
