Provincial deputies at the fifth session of the 14th Shanxi Provincial People's Congress discussed "future industry" and "new quality productive forces", offering strategies to address Shanxi province's challenges in transitioning from a resource-based economy to a diversified industrial powerhouse.

Shen Pengzhan, chairman of Shanxi Hainuo Technology Co, emphasized the need to enhance policy support and equal resource allocation to foster new quality productive forces. Shen advocated for tailored policies to standardize market access, financial incentives, and resource supply, proposing an implementation mechanism of city-level execution and provincial-level coordination.

Wang Xianchao, chairman of Shanxi Baixin Information Technology Co, has 11 years of experience in the information technology application innovation industry and deep insights into its development. He highlighted the vast potential of the national server market and urged Shanxi to accelerate the development of a comprehensive industrial chain cluster.

Wang suggested establishing a Quantum Computing Innovation Center in Taiyuan, integrating research resources from within and outside the province. This center would aim to create a self-reliant quantum computing application ecosystem that integrates with Shanxi's energy and power industries, forming a unique "Taiyuan model" for industrial development.

Sun Xiaopu, deputy general manager of Shanxi Jiashida Robot Technology Co, proposed establishing a service robot industrial park in Shanxi. Sun recommended prioritizing this development in Taiyuan or the Shanxi Transformation Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone to create a billion-yuan industrial cluster and establish Shanxi as a hub for service robot research, manufacturing, and innovative applications in central and western China.
