Shanxi scenic spots recognized in top 200 brand communication list

Nine scenic spots from Shanxi province have been included in the "Top 200 4A-level Scenic Spot Brand Communication Effectiveness List for January 2026". The recognized sites include Xinzhou Ancient City, Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, Taiyuan Botanical Garden, Wangmangling Scenic Area, Taiyuan Zoo, and Datong Fantawild Adventure.
The list, based on data from the Meadin Brand Index (MBI), was compiled from a comprehensive analysis of 4,318 scenic spots. It evaluates brand communication effectiveness across the internet and mobile platforms using four key metrics: search index, comment index, operation index, and media index.
In January, operations at representative 4A-level scenic spots across the country revealed three main trends: technology-empowered experiences, precise customer group operations, and the attraction of key markets through transportation subsidy policies.
Moving forward, scenic spots are encouraged to focus on technology-driven transformations to enhance the visitor experience. Additionally, they are advised to strengthen visitor retention through targeted marketing strategies to contribute to the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism sector.
