As temperatures rise, ice in the upper reaches of the Yellow River gradually melts, swelling the river’s flow through the scenic area. The roaring waters plunge downward, casting a rainbow over the falls in the shifting play of mist and sunlight. Meanwhile, peach blossoms along the banks burst into full bloom, softening the grandeur of the mighty river.

"From March to April, when peach blossoms bloom, melting ice in the upper Yellow River triggers the annual spring flood at Hukou Waterfall," said Zhang Chaoyun, a staff member at the scenic area. "The water volume this year is even greater than in previous years, making the scene more spectacular. It's the perfect time to visit."

A surge in tourist numbers is expected around March 15, as more visitors flock to witness this extraordinary natural wonder.
