Shanxi NPC deputies submit six motions and 256 suggestions

During the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), Shanxi deputies actively participated in discussions on high-quality development, submitting a total of six motions and 256 suggestions to the congress, including eight suggestions made on behalf of the entire Shanxi delegation.
The six motions focused on establishing laws on organ donation and transplantation, protecting revolutionary cultural resources, preserving paleontological fossils, and safeguarding the rights of workers in new forms of employment. They also proposed amendments to the laws on the protection of minors and blood donation.
The eight suggestions submitted on behalf of the delegation included calls to create national advanced manufacturing clusters, develop a key national base for new energy metal materials, implement the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda construction and technique research project, and integrate into the national computing power network.
All suggestions covered various sectors, including industry, energy, investment, science, education, health, sports, legal construction, trade, transportation, cultural tourism, and social and public affairs, as well as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries, and water resources.
Focusing on industrial transformation, energy revolution, technological innovation, ecological protection, and livelihood improvement, these motions and suggestions were closely aligned with Shanxi's needs for high-quality development and were well-received and approved by the congress.
