Sixteen companies from Shanxi province have been included in the 2025 list of Green Factories announced recently by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, earning recognition as Green Factories.

Green Factories are the foundational units for implementing green manufacturing. These enterprises integrate the green manufacturing philosophy throughout the entire process of planning, construction, production, and operation, directly engaging in industrial production activities.

The 16 recognized Shanxi companies include Shanxi Jinding Lubao Energy Technology Co, Shanxi TZCO Construction Machinery Co, and CRRC Datong Electric Locomotive Co, among others. These companies span key sectors such as energy technology, equipment manufacturing, building materials, and information technology.

Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Co, a core enterprise in Shanxi's high-end equipment manufacturing industry chain, exemplifies green development throughout its entire research, production, and supply chain processes. The company has established distinct advantages in green product development, low-carbon manufacturing, and efficient resource utilization.

Through technological upgrades and process innovation, CRRC Datong Electric Locomotive Co has developed a recycling system for industrial solid waste, wastewater, and exhaust gases, achieving breakthroughs in energy conservation and emission reduction, and standing as a benchmark for green transformation in the rail transit equipment industry.
