Jincheng city in Shanxi province has advanced its culture, tourism, and wellness industries in recent years, earning prestigious titles, including World Wellness Demonstration City, one of China's Top 100 Wellness Cities, and Climate-Friendly City. 

The city has adopted a comprehensive regional approach, developing a diverse product system comprising demonstration zones, major scenic areas, villages and courtyards, and premium routes, which offer 133 specialized routes throughout the year.

Jincheng leads the province in both the quantity and quality of boutique and graded accommodations, with initiatives such as the "Tourism Experience Evaluators" and a service-quality feedback mechanism that help ensure a safe and pleasant environment.

Boasting 72 national heritage sites, 117 ancient fortresses, and a summer climate averaging a refreshing 22 C, Jincheng has turned culture, tourism, and wellness into a new, multifaceted industry. 

The city now has 100 wellness-themed villages and 100 boutique courtyards that have attracted over 31 million tourists, which spurs entrepreneurship among 81,000 locals and increases income for over 500,000 rural residents, revitalizing ancient villages and supporting local economies.

Jincheng aims to further enhance scenic areas, resorts, and its rural tourism brand, achieving a 5A-level rating for Wangmangling Scenic Area and Situ Town, and developing the national-level tourism resort Taihang Ancient Fortress.
