WTT Contender Taiyuan 2026 set to begin

The World Table Tennis (WTT) Contender Taiyuan 2026 is set to take place from April 7 to 12 at the Binhe Sports Center Gymnasium in Taiyuan, Shanxi province. A total of 93 elite players from 19 countries and regions have registered to compete in this prestigious event.

The event spans six days with ten sessions, and tickets are now available for purchase. The competition kicks off with the qualification rounds on April 7 and 8, followed by the main draw from April 9 to 12. Players will compete in five categories: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

To enhance spectators' experience, the venue will feature a fan cheering wall and unique photo spots, allowing fans to capture memories and show their support. Additionally, a "Shanxi Specialty Products Expo" will be held nearby, offering fans a chance to explore local products and experience the unique charm of Taiyuan beyond the matches.

In an effort to boost Taiyuan's "sports + tourism" appeal, ticket holders can enjoy free entry to local attractions including the Jinci Museum, Shuangta Museum, and Taiyuan Zoo from April 4 to 15.
