Huayuan International Land Port (Datong) Group Co delivered its first 3,800-metric-ton dry bulk carrier to Germany's HAV SHIPPING on March 20, becoming the first Shanxi company to enter the European ship trade market and marking a breakthrough for Shanxi province in international maritime trade.

Measuring 89.43 meters in length, 13.2 meters in width, and 7.5 meters in depth, the vessel is specifically designed for European feeder routes and has a cruising speed of 11.8 knots. It incorporates intelligent, efficient, and eco-friendly technologies that meet European Tier III emission standards. Through comprehensive optimization, the vessel achieves a 30 percent fuel savings rate, earning high praise from the German shipowner.

Huayuan International Land Port's Datong Company has established an opening-up framework that integrates bonded logistics, international freight trains, import-export trade, and cross-border e-commerce. The remaining three vessels in this export project are scheduled for delivery in the first half of this year and are expected to generate $34 million in export revenue for the company.

As a leading force in Shanxi's opening-up efforts, Huayuan International Land Port Group has, in recent years, actively expanded international trade, cross-border logistics, and overseas markets, continuously injecting new momentum into Shanxi's high-level opening-up.
