Yuncheng in Shanxi province held an investment promotion conference in Shanghai on March 28 to facilitate industrial transfers with the Yangtze River Delta region, resulting in the signing of 33 projects totaling 19.15 billion yuan ($2.78 billion) in investment.

These span emerging industries such as new materials, the low-altitude economy, new energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing, with eight projects exceeding 1 billion yuan in investment, accounting for 24.2 percent of the total. Among these include the 2 billion yuan low-altitude economy project by Guanbang Flight Technology Co and the 2 billion yuan heavy truck battery swap project by Yizeng Power New Energy Technology Co.

Currently, 28 of the signed projects have entered the implementation phase, with construction on 25 of them anticipated to commence within the year, creating over 8,000 new jobs in Yuncheng and contributing more than 1.2 billion yuan in annual tax revenue.
