The marathon route weaved through Jishan National Banzao Park, Fenhe National Wetland Park, and several nationally significant cultural sites such as Jiwang Temple, Qinglong Temple, and Dafo Temple, allowing participants to immerse themselves in Jishan's natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
Jishan played a major role in the development of Chinese agriculture. In recent years, the county has focused on integrating agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, and commerce. It has hosted the marathon for the past three years. As the event has grown, the "Jishan Marathon" brand has gained increasing influence and acclaim, earning widespread praise from the public.
To enhance the experience, Jishan county offered all runners comprehensive race and finisher packages, along with complimentary tickets to national heritage sites.
The event also featured exhibitions of cultural and creative products, traditional performances, and e-commerce live streaming. These activities not only stimulated consumption but exemplified how sports events help power local development.
