"We found online that Chishen Temple offers the best view of the salt lake," said Shen Zhihua, a visitor from Henan who brought his family to Yuncheng specifically and was captivated by the view. "At the No 006 Lamp Post Viewing Platform, with Zhongtiao Mountain as the backdrop, even a casual phone snap looks amazing," he added.

Known as the "Dead Sea of China", Yuncheng Salt Lake spans 132 square kilometers and is one of the world's three major inland sodium sulfate lakes. As temperatures increase, the concentration of minerals in the lake rises, leading to the crystallization of various salts. This, combined with the activity of microorganisms, creates a spectrum effect through the reflection and scattering of sunlight, resulting in this unique summer ecological wonder.

In recent years, Yuncheng city has prioritized ecological preservation by halting industrial activities within the lake area. Through embankment restoration, dredging, pollution control, and greening efforts, the ancient salt lake is transforming from an "industrial mining area" into an "ecological scenic spot".
