In a strategic move to bolster industrial upgrades, rural vitalization, and agricultural insurance, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Finance has allocated a total of 29.23 billion yuan ($4.3 billion) this year. This funding includes 1.7 billion yuan for "grant-to-investment" initiatives, 26.51 billion yuan for urban-rural integration, and 1.02 billion yuan for agricultural insurance.

To advance industrial upgrades, the 1.7 billion yuan "grant-to-investment" budget will be allocated to six government investment funds, including those for the low-altitude economy, manufacturing revitalization, and angel investment, with the goal of guiding private capital toward energy transition and technological innovation.

For rural vitalization, 26.51 billion yuan has been earmarked to promote urban-rural integration. These funds will support grassroots organizational operations, public cultural service systems, and road construction, improving rural governance efficiency and strengthening financial support for public services, while also employing financial and social capital for rural development.

To enhance agricultural insurance, 1.02 billion yuan has been allocated, marking an 8 percent increase from the previous year. This funding will expand insurance coverage, promote local specialty agricultural insurance, and enhance the informatization of agricultural insurance, driving the province's overall agricultural insurance quality and efficiency.
