The water lilies at Jinyang Lake Park in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, have blossomed into a stunning sea of color, making the park a popular summer destination for locals and tourists.

The water lily display at Jinyang Lake Park spans an impressive 15,000 square meters and features 15 different varieties. The lilies stand gracefully among lush green leaves, creating a picturesque summer scene against a backdrop of blue skies and clear waters.

To enhance the flower viewing experience, the park has set up two core observation areas: the South Shore and the Cherry Blossom Dike, with one providing a close-up view and the other a more panoramic view. Wooden walkways over the water make it easier to see the intricate petal patterns and delicate beauty of the lilies.

The blooming period for water lilies extends from May to September. This year, favorable temperatures and abundant sunlight have resulted in healthier growth and more prolific blooms compared to previous years, creating a rich and layered floral waterscape.
