Shanxi province announced the launch of 11 study-tour routes at its "Shanxi Outstanding Family Values Cultural Map" educational tour launch event on June 3, aiming to promote exemplary family values across households.

Shanxi, with its rich history and profound culture, shines with the good family values, from the virtues of the Yao and Shun emperors to the teachings of Shanxi merchants.

The routes through Taiyuan, Jinzhong, and Lyuliang connect educational sites such as the Di Renjie Cultural Park, He Zehui Memorial Hall, and Yu Chenglong Memorial Hall, highlighting the values of integrity, patriotism, and diligence. 

Meanwhile, the routes through Datong, Shuozhou, and Xinzhou feature attractions such as the Pingxingguan Victory Memorial Hall, Youyu Spirit Education Base, and Yang Family Ancestral Hall, embodying the spirit of loyalty, courage, and dedication.

The routes through Changzhi, Jincheng, and Yangquan are anchored by landmarks such as the Taihang Memorial Museum of the Eighth Route Army, the Chen Tingjing Memorial Hall, and the Hundred-Regiment Campaign Park, which celebrate the revolutionary spirit of sacrifice and responsibility. 

Along the route through Yuncheng and Linfen, the focus is on cultural landmarks such as the Pei, Xue, Liu, and Sima family sites and the Hongtong Dahuaishu Ancestor Memorial Garden, showcasing a millennium of family value that emphasizes education and respect for ancestors.

"Each route is like a key, unlocking the door to the good family values of virtue, integrity, diligence, and practicality," said a representative from the Shanxi Provincial Women's Federation, the launch event's organizing unit.
