A new direct bus service from Taiyuan to the Yanmenguan Scenic Area now enables tourists from both inside and outside Shanxi province to reach the scenic destination conveniently and efficiently.

The route, launched on June 8, connects Taiyuan Wusu International Airport, Taiyuan South Railway Station, and Taiyuan Railway Station, ensuring seamless connectivity to the Yanmenguan Scenic Area via the airport, high-speed rail, and train stations. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach the north gate of Yanmenguan, significantly enhancing travel efficiency.

The service offers three daily departures from Taiyuan at 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 3:00 pm. Return trips from Yanmenguan are scheduled at 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm. The buses, eight-seat business vehicles, are designed for small-group travel, with a one-way fare priced at 99 yuan ($15) per person, excluding the entrance fee to the scenic area.

Located in Daixian county, Xinzhou, Yanmenguan Scenic Area is a crucial part of the Great Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a national 5A tourist attraction. The area's recent introduction of immersive experiences, such as costume parades and war drum performances, has also attracted numerous visitors.
