The Shanxi Provincial Tax Service Bureau, in collaboration with the Hebei Provincial Tax Service Bureau, hosted a specialized online livestream event on May 28 focused on investment in Indonesia. The event brought together experts from various fields to provide comprehensive policy guidance for companies from both provinces looking to expand into the Indonesian market.
The livestream integrated resources from taxation, commerce, customs, foreign exchange, credit insurance, and tax service agencies, aiming to address the needs of companies investing in Indonesia, from market entry to business operations and expansion. By tackling the challenges of cross-border investment, the event sought to help enterprises seize opportunities, manage risks, and achieve high-quality international growth.
During the livestream’s policy presentations, representatives from various departments explained key business points in detail. In the Q&A segment, experts addressed practical issues faced by companies, such as compliance in overseas contracting, RCEP tariff reductions, certificate of origin procedures in Indonesia, and centralized cross-border fund management, offering clear, compliant operational pathways.
The Shanxi Provincial Tax Service Bureau has deepened cross-departmental collaboration in recent years to enhance open services by forming expert teams and implementing initiatives such as offline policy briefings and overseas tax services. This livestream further expanded the scope of services, utilizing cross-regional and multi-departmental efforts to effectively reduce costs for Shanxi and Hebei companies investing in Indonesia.
