The Shanxi Provincial Committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) organized a trade exchange conference with international business associations based in Liaoning province on June 25. The event aimed to foster mutual understanding between Shanxi and Northeast Asian enterprises, aligning market demands, industrial policies, and cooperation opportunities.

In his opening remarks, Jiao Yufeng, secretary of the leading Party members group of the CCPIT Shanxi Committee, highlighted that Shanxi's foreign trade partners now span 158 countries and regions. The province has seen an average annual growth of 30.2 percent in exports of electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products, and boasts 2,104 enterprises with impressive import-export achievements.

Pang Baoguo, president of the CCPIT Liaoning Sub-Council, noted the conference represents a practical step in Shanxi-Liaoning economic collaboration. As a frontier in Northeast China's opening-up efforts, Liaoning has established cooperative relationships with 340 trade organizations across 82 countries and regions, continually aiding enterprises in exploring Northeast Asian and global markets.

During the promotional segment, Shanxi officials presented the province's investment attraction policies. Representatives from Taiyuan, Changzhi, Linfen, and Yuncheng showcased their investment environments. Shanxi enterprise representatives also highlighted key industries.

Leaders from international business associations based in Liaoning actively engaged in discussions. They explored topics such as Shanxi's industrial chain layout, project implementation, market expansion, and trade interactions with Shanxi's participating departments and business representatives.
