The "Sacred Realm of the West: Guiding Spirits at Lingshan Mountain" XR (Extended Reality) Digital Cultural Tourism Project at Xiaoxitian Temple in Xixian county, Linfen city, has completed all content production and is now in the final stages of debugging and preparation, gearing up for trial operations.

This project highlights the Xiaoxitian Temple, a nationally recognized key cultural heritage site, and its commitment to integrating digital technology with cultural tourism.

Using XR technology, the project fuses the scenic area's serene cultural elements with the Chinese classic Journey to the West, creating an immersive theatrical experience. It features 8K ultra-wide XR headsets, interactive spatial systems, and 360-degree rotating seats, drawing inspiration from advanced XR cinema models.

Tourists can participate in the Journey to the West storyline, while the overall project includes zones for VR (Virtual Reality) experiences, cultural exhibitions, creative merchandise, and educational workshops. Accompanying the experience is the XR-themed film Journey to the West: Tales of Xiaoxitian Temple XR, with plans for future multi-location and overseas exhibitions.
