A 12-member media delegation from Balochistan, Pakistan, visited Shanxi province from June 24 to 27 to experience the unique charm of China's rich cultural heritage. The group included veteran newspaper journalists, TV hosts, social media influencers, and digital media editors. They toured several locations, including Datong, Taiyuan, and Yangquan.

Saleem Shahid, a seasoned journalist from Dawn based in Balochistan, expressed his awe upon visiting the Yungang Grottoes in Datong. "This is my first time visiting the world heritage site of Yungang Grottoes. The preservation is remarkable, and it carries a profound historical legacy," he said.

Shahid also highlighted the site's blend of diverse cultural elements, its comprehensive facilities, and the clear, accessible explanations that help international visitors easily grasp its history.

Razia Sultana, a host from Pakistan Television Corporation's Balochistan Channel, was impressed by the variety of locomotives at the modern production workshops of CRRC Datong Electric Locomotive Co. She hoped for deeper practical cooperation between China and Pakistan in the rail transit industry through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor platform.

During the visit, the delegation also showed great interest in Shanxi's technological innovations. They believe Shanxi's photovoltaic products hold significant potential to address Pakistan's power shortages. The delegation plans to share their insights and experiences from Shanxi with a broader audience through their media platforms.
