North University of China and Taiyuan State-owned Investment Group held a signing ceremony on June 30 at the Taiyuan Sci-Tech Innovation Industrial Park to establish the School of Outstanding Engineers. The parties signed agreements to jointly build the school and a collaborative training base, marking a significant step in integrating industry and education.

The university's campus space, classrooms, and student dormitories will be expanded and upgraded to a total building area of 119,000 square meters, featuring high-standard sports fields, a conference center, faculty apartments, and dining facilities to support teaching, research, and daily life.

Using this collaborative platform, both sides aim to build an integrated education system characterized by "school-enterprise collaboration, industry-education integration, practical application, and research-driven production". Together, they aspire to create a benchmark for cultivating outstanding engineering talent. 

The school will continuously provide support for talent and technological innovation to drive Taiyuan's industrial transformation, scientific advancement, and urban development, charting a new chapter of win-win cooperation between academia and industry.
