As the summer travel peak for seniors approaches, China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group has launched additional tourist trains. These trains are tailored to provide high-quality, customized services in an effort to boost cultural tourism.

To meet demand among seniors – who tend to prefer leisurely travel, immersive experiences, and minimal hassle – Taiyuan Bureau has introduced tourist trains adopting a "fast travel, slow tour" model featuring multi-stop itineraries.

The newly launched tourist train heading to Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region has been upgraded to include comfortable sleeper carriages, customized meals, dedicated tour guides, medical staff, and various facilities aimed at providing a more convenient and safe travel experience for seniors.

The Xinjiang tourist train itinerary connects classic natural landscapes and cultural sites in both northern and southern Xinjiang, encompassing diverse landscapes such as snow-capped mountains, lakes, deserts, and grasslands. This allows tourists to immerse themselves in Xinjiang's unique folk customs and regional culture.
