On the opening day, a work progress meeting for the world heritage site application of the Shanxi section of the Tea Road was held. This marks the first time a heritage application meeting has been integrated with a tea trade expo, signaling a new phase in the cultural preservation of the Tea Road.

Moreover, the organizing committee has planned over 10 special tea events during the expo, including tea and floral art gatherings, tea preparation competitions, intangible cultural heritage tea performances, new product launches, and regional brand promotions, all aimed at enriching the tea culture experience and spreading the spirit of the tea ceremony.
