This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum (TELC). Themed "Dual Carbon Goals Leading Energy Transition, Innovation Accelerating a Green Future", the forum will take place from Sept 4 to 5 in Taiyuan, Shanxi province.

The forum will focus on three core levels: national, international, and professional. It will feature an opening ceremony and high-level meetings, five international conferences, seven parallel forums, six thematic activities, and various supporting events. The forum aims to gather cutting-edge global ideas, advanced technologies, and demonstration projects in energy and low-carbon development.

Over 120 international guests have confirmed their attendance, including government officials from Cambodia, Georgia, and Mexico; diplomats from countries such as the UK and Australia; and leaders from international organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the World Energy Council.

The forum will offer customized, one-on-one services to State-owned enterprises, strategic partners, and foreign companies. Through in-depth pre-forum discussions, the goal is to launch a series of landmark, high-growth energy transition projects.

Coinciding with the forum, the 2026 China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo will showcase new products, technologies, and achievements in the energy sector. The event will also feature interactive displays of intangible cultural heritage, blending industrial exchange with cultural experiences.

The forum will use new energy vehicles for transportation and recyclable materials for venue construction, embodying a low-carbon philosophy throughout. Shanxi invites global guests to gather in Taiyuan and embark on a new journey of green cooperation.
