Shanxi province celebrated a historic achievement with a gold medal for Shanxi Jinbo Bio-Pharmaceutical Co's patent on "Peptides, Their Production Methods, and Applications" at the China National Intellectual Property Administration's 26th China Patent Awards on Aug 28. 

Other awarded projects from the province included Shanxi University's "All-Solid-State Continuous Wave Single-Frequency Laser", North University of China's "Multi-Parameter Surface Acoustic Wave Sensing Device and Its Preparation Method", and a joint submission from China Coal Technology and Engineering Group's Taiyuan Research Institute Co and Shanxi Tiandi Coal Mining Machinery Equipment Co, titled "Multifunctional Battery-Powered Auxiliary Operation Robot".

The China Patent Awards, co-organized by the China National Intellectual Property Administration and the World Intellectual Property Organization, represent the highest level of recognition in China's intellectual property sector. These prestigious awards highlight the pinnacle of domestic core technology innovation, patent quality, and industrial application, underscoring significant advancements in intellectual property and technological innovation.
