The 2026 evaluation process for doctoral innovation stations in Shanxi province has resulted in 121 new stations distributed across all 11 cities, strategically aligning with key developmental sectors such as new materials, new energy, equipment manufacturing, digital information technology, ecological protection, biomedicine, and modern agriculture. 

Doctoral talents are from local universities, including Taiyuan University of Technology, Shanxi University, North University of China, and Shanxi Agricultural University, as well as from several universities and research institutes outside the province.

These doctoral teams will participate in the production processes of enterprises, tackling industry-specific technological challenges through joint research and technical innovation. They aim to facilitate the local application of research outcomes while assisting companies in developing their internal technical teams. This approach transforms laboratory research capabilities into tangible market competitiveness for enterprises.
