A cross-Strait green energy exhibition area was established for the first time at the 2026 China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo from Sept 3 to 6, featuring 10 Taiwan companies and providing a platform to deepen cooperation in green energy between Shanxi and Taiwan.

The 10 participating companies, spanning key areas such as energy-efficient equipment manufacturing, new environmental protection materials, and low-carbon technology applications, showcased new technologies, products, and practical outcomes in the green energy sector.

This event facilitated face-to-face interactions between Shanxi-based enterprises and Taiwan companies, enabling discussions on green energy technology development, market implementation, and supply chain collaboration. Both sides shared insights and learned from each other's experiences in green development efforts.

Representatives of the Taiwan companies expressed that the event opened a new channel for cooperation in the green energy sector between Shanxi and Taiwan. It expanded the platform for deeper economic and trade exchanges, promoting the high-quality development of green and low-carbon industries.
