The Y7534 flight took off from Taiyuan Wusu International Airport at 2:55 pm on May 4, marking the resumption of the direct charter flight from Taiyuan to Moscow.

This charter flight route is the first intercontinental route to start operating in Shanxi this year, and the first flight to operate on the route was fully booked.

Initiated by Shanxi Baohua Travel, this charter route is expected to deepen international tourism exchanges and cooperation, tap into potential markets in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, and help Shanxi become an internationally renowned culture and tourism destination.

The route operates every Wednesday and Saturday. The flight departs from Taiyuan at 2:55 pm and arrives in Moscow at 8:15 pm. The returning flight departs from Moscow at 10:55 pm and arrives in Taiyuan at 1:15 pm the next day.

The first group of tourists from Shanxi to Russia embarked on an eight-day journey to Moscow and St Petersburg. Both cities are globally renowned tourist cities and popular destinations among Chinese outbound tourists.

May is the perfect time to visit Moscow, which is home to lush greenery and blooming flowers, comfortable temperatures, and fewer crowds.
