Mengshan Scenic Area in Taiyuan, North China's Shanxi province, has announced the launch of its summer night tour season on June 28 to enhance visitors' experiences. Operating hours during the night tour season will be from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm, with the Grand Buddha Lighting Ceremony held twice daily at 8:20 pm and 8:50 pm.

Located approximately 15 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan, Mengshan has a peak elevation of 1,325 meters. With its cool climate, lush greenery, murmuring streams, and abundant cultural relics, it is an ideal destination for sightseeing, Buddhist devotion, and tranquil rejuvenation. The Mengshan Grand Buddha is the area's most iconic cultural treasure.

The summer night tour is a signature program introduced as part of Mengshan's comprehensive upgrades. As night falls, the scenic area transforms into a dazzling, dreamlike landscape. Visitors can explore attractions such as Mengshan Dawn Moon, the Mengshan Grand Buddha, Kaihua Temple, the Iron Buddha Hall, and the Jingming Temple Pagoda, experiencing the unique charm of Mengshan under starlit skies.
