The 2025 Shanxi Taiyuan Chinese and Foreign Children's Cultural Exchange Activities commenced on July 26, with children from various countries carrying cultural gift boxes representing their homelands and exchanging them with child representatives from Taiyuan, who also presented crafted boxes showcasing the city's intangible cultural heritage.

The "Five Senses Bazaar" became a highlight of the event, where a Shanxi noodle master demonstrated the art of knife-cut noodles alongside an Italian chef preparing pasta, offering a delightful culinary showdown.

Guests savored the unique flavors of Shanxi aged vinegar and Italian balsamic vinegar, experiencing the essence of Eastern and Western culinary traditions. Meanwhile, French perfumes and traditional Chinese herbal sachets engaged in a fragrant dialogue.

Advanced technologies were another key feature. In the AI-assisted learning zone, children interacted with educational robots in multiple languages. The VR experience area captivated young visitors with its immersive wonders, while the "Question Wall," where strangers exchanged queries and replies, helped forge friendships.

The event also unveiled the results of the "Children Paint Jinyang • Imagine the Future" international children's art competition. Out of 5,000 submissions, 3,000 selected works will be displayed across Taiyuan.

The activities served as a bridge of friendship, connecting cultures through the innocence and creativity of children, while showcasing the enduring charm of Chinese culture and the unique allure of Taiyuan.
