The 7th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair (SXCIF) will be held from Aug 21 to 25 in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, showcasing the latest developments in the province's cultural industries.

The main venue, located at the Shanxi Xiaohe International Convention & Exhibition Center, covers 70,000 square meters with seven themed pavilions that span industry, technology, trade, consumption, and intangible cultural heritage (ICH).

The SXCIF will be attended by nearly 2,000 companies from 31 Chinese provinces and 35 countries worldwide, involving sectors such as new tourism equipment, smart sports, intelligent cultural relics, and virtual reality. New products like robotic dogs, bionic robots, low-altitude drones, and underground archaeological cabins will be showcased.

The event will feature multiple branch venues across the province, hosting performances, film screenings, ICH experiences, and consumption activities. To facilitate remote participation, a virtual reality exhibition hall will be available, allowing people to experience the fair from their computers or phones.

Tickets for the event come in paper and electronic formats. Paper tickets can be purchased at the exhibition center's ticket office with ID cards, while electronic tickets will be available for purchase starting from Aug 8 on platforms like Douyin, Kuaishou, and Xiaohongshu.
